Many people, having heard of wars and the disastrous happenings around the world, have lost hope in life. They feel they may not make it into another day.
The loss of loved ones cannot be forgotten in a moment, contributing to the depreciating moods of the relations.
On this note, the word of God is encouraging us not to be troubled by these news and happenings.
But we must pick up our broken pieces and keep going; for the end, it is not yet.
There is more to come, and we shall be victorious at the end.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Our Lord Jesus Christ has made it known to us that even in all these things, we have victory ahead because He has overcome the world.

It is true that all have not overcome the world because not all truly believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
Depression is a product of this world, and victory over the world is equally victory over the things of this world (including depression and its brethren).
