Rascal Flatts will be launching a brand new tour beginning this summer, "The American Band Tour." The tour will feature an all band set-up with Little Big Town, Eli YoungBand and Edens Edge opening. The tour kicks off on June 15 at Hartford, CT's Comcast Theatre. "We are always looking for new ways to re-energize our live shows," says Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts. "We thought bringing out these bands, whom are among some of our favorite vocal groups, would make a great night of entertainment!"

Gaylord Entertainment and Dolly Parton's Dollywood Company will be developing a $50 million 114 acre water and snow park adjacent to Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and the Grand Ole Opry. The yet-to-be-named park will open no later than the spring of 2014, with groundbreaking expected in early 2013. The park will feature music and is expected to attract 500,000 the first year.
